2004 BLACK ROCK CHARDONNAY - WAS $16 NOW $10! Aged 12 months in French and American oak, this wine displays bright citrus notes of pineapple and lime with a touch of Granny Smith apple and butterscotch. Lemony citrus aromas mingle with oak reminiscent of hot buttered popcorn. Nice long finish with a just a hint of mineral. Serve slightly chilled.

2007 BLACK ROCK CHARDONNAY RESERVE - SOLD OUT Silver Medal 2009 Virginia Governor's Cup. This 100% barrel fermented Chardonnay exhibits bold ripe intense fruit with citrus and pineapple notes. Barrel aged for 9 months for subtle oak which lends rich suppleness with touches of honey and butterscotch. Serve slightly chilled.

2008 BLACK ROCK CHARDONNAY RESERVE - $20 *Silver Medal 2009 Wines of the South Wine Competition. This is the best of both naked and oaked: crisp fruitiness with butter! Our blend of 84% Chardonnay and 16% Viognier exhibits bold, ripe fruit notes of pear and apple with a touch of lemon. Barrel aged 9 months for subtle oak which lends rich buttery suppleness. Pairs well with creamy sauces, poultry and seafood - especially oysters, crab cakes or salmon. Also nice with pork dishes and Caribbean cuisine. Best served slightly chilled.

2008 VIOGNIER - $20 *2009 Atlantic Seaboard Wine Competition Medalist. This wonderfully aromatic varietal is known for its ability to seduce one's senses. Here its inviting perfume of honeysuckle and apricot leads to an abundantly fruity palate of white peach, pear and pineapple. Crafted in stainless steel tanks, this dry medium-bodied wine with polished acidity is a joy to pair with richer buttery shellfish and poultry dishes with cream sauces. Great accompaniment for chevre and triple creme cheeses. Serve chilled.

THREE RIDGES WHITE - $16 *Silver Medal 2009 Atlantic Seaboard Wine Competition. Our first wine made with the Petit Manseng grape is rich and golden hued, aromatic, fruity and floral with a pleasant touch of sweetness. Vibrant aromas of candied orange peel and mango lead into lush tropical fruit notes plus kiwi and tangerine. Excellent as an aperitif with creamy cheeses or served well chilled with lightly spiced Asian or Indian dishes, blackened chicken or shrimp, herb roasted chicken or most fish and shellfish.

THOMAS NELSON WHITE - $14 *Silver Medal Atlantic Seaboard Wine Competition. This semi-sweet favorite meets all your needs for a great fruity white. A blend of 45% Vidal Blanc and 55% Traminette. Zesty acidity is balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. Ambrosial nose with lovely floral aromas. Great paired with spicy cuisine like Thai, Creole, Cajun, Southwestern and Indian. Enjoy well chilled with good friends. Reds

THREE RIDGES RED - $16 *2009 Atlantic Seaboard Wine Competition Medalist. 100% Chambourcin spent 7 months in oak to produce this dry, medium bodied and deeply violet hued wine. Lush and smooth with exuberant fruit. Predominant notes of black cherry and vanilla bean. Soft but gutsy with concentrated flavors and a long, spicy finish. Nice paired with lean red meats, game, veal and hearty pasta dishes. We also enjoy it with our gourmet homemade burgers.

2007 RAVEN'S ROOST CABERNET FRANC - $20 This medium bodied blend of 89% Cabernet Franc and 11% Merlot is drenched with dark amethyst color with a nose of currant and spice. Somewhat tart black cherry mingled with cassis and cedar undertones give way to a smooth finish. Aged 9 months in American and Virginia oak.

2008 RAVEN'S ROOST CABERNET FRANC - $20 *2009 Wines of the South Medalist. This light to medium bodied 100% Cabernet Franc is bright with a nose of raspberry and violet. Dried cherry mingled with cassis and a hint of lavender give way to a smooth finish with low tannins. Aged 7 months in American and Virginia oak. A versatile wine with food and pairs nicely with poultry (especially duck) as well as veal, pork, red meats, heavy game, Mediterranean fare...and pizza!

2007 BRENT'S MOUNTAIN MERLOT - $20 *Silver Medals 2009 Virginia Governor's Cup, 2009 Finger Lakes Wine Competition and 2009 International Eastern Wine Competition. This deep garnet colored blend of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc spent 9 months in oak to yield a full bodied wine with nice toastiness and lingering tannins. Opens with aromas of violet and plum followed by flavors of cocoa and currant with a hint of caramel. Smooth with a lasting, slightly peppery finish. A great complement to many cheeses and wonderful with beef, lamb and duck...also dark chocolate :)

2008 BRENT'S MOUNTAIN MERLOT - $20 *2009 Wines of the South Medalist. 100% Merlot spent 9 months in oak to yield a medium bodied dry wine rich in flavor and smooth on the palate. Aromas and flavors of rich, ripe plum with black cherry and tea leaf notes. A velvety wine with depth of flavor and soft but full tannins. A great complement to many cheeses and wonderful with beef, lamb and duck, tomato-based pasta dishes or dark chocolate.

2006 BLACK ROCK RED RESERVE - $24 - SOLD OUT *Silver Medal 2009 Virginia Governor's Cup. The best of our reds from the 2006 vintage! This ruby red gem is a blend of 52% Cabernet Franc and 48% Merlot and spent 21 patient months in oak to yield a robust, full bodied and lush wine with balanced fruit and oak. Big red fruit notes and cranberry are laced with vanilla and a bit of smokiness. Smooth tannic structure with a lasting finish.

RASPBERRY - $15 *Silver Medal Wines of the South Wine Competition. Decadence defined! A perennial award winner and customer favorite, this sinfully good dessert fruit wine exhibits bold, fresh Raspberry aroma and taste. Serve chilled alone or with chocolate, fresh fruit, or cheesecake. Makes a wonderful gift paired with one of the delicious Dagoba organic chocolate bars or a box of Noel truffles. Pure indulgence!

MILL HILL APPLE - $12 *GOLD Medal 2009 Wines of the South Wine Competition. A refreshing, crisp fruit wine which exhibits the delicious taste of the mountain grown Virginia apples from which it is made. Delightful with pork, barbecued and smoked meats and cheeses. Serve well chilled.
